The inspiration behind Kintsugi Axis I
The warm-coloured arc and small circle establish two scales of geometry on dark green. The curve opens a path, while the closed shape provides a focal point without filling the field. Kintsugi Axis organises dark green and warm-coloured strokes through a geometry of axes and curves. Its name refers to an aesthetic reading: it does not indicate artisan repair, real gold or relief. The accents and discontinuities belong to the printed image. This appearance is reproduced on matte paper, without relief or added materials.
