The inspiration behind Amber Tile II
The large amber circle dominates the composition against the blue-green triangles. The light bands soften that encounter, allowing a broad warm figure to coexist with smaller, more angular ones. Circles, triangles and curved bands share geometry on different scales. The mixture of amber, cream and blue-greens allows warm and cool areas to alternate, with a reading that changes between the main figures and the angular pieces surrounding them.
