The inspiration behind Crushed Berry Triptych
Crushed Berry relies on diagonals that advance, cross and break apart into small marks. Burgundy and black areas concentrate the energy, while pink broadens the transitions and the cream background opens light intervals. Ochre accents appear among the patches and reinforce some paths. The artwork maintains a sense of impetus without representing a specific object. Divided into three panels, the gesture changes scale and direction, creating an active sequence with pauses between its densest moments.
