The inspiration behind Auric Rain Triptych
Auric Rain uses a minimal motif to build an enveloping atmosphere. Gold-coloured lines fall to different heights, and their small endpoints produce an irregular rhythm resembling a stretched constellation. The concentration of strokes at the upper edge gradually dissolves towards the lower half, where deep green has more space. The three panels retain this same language without exactly repeating the distribution. The result reads as a light curtain of depicted light against a quiet background.
