The inspiration behind Porcelana y arcilla Triptych
The sides unfold light surfaces opening outwards, while the centre panel brings together tighter curves and a reddish interior. That difference creates a focal point without using very many colours. Parallel lines follow the direction of the folds and give the shapes lightness. The composition can recall petals, mineral sheets or an imagined ceramic piece, leaving the viewer's interpretation open.
